Long time no blog :)

I realize I have been really bad at blogging lately, but I have had an issue on my heart that I am trying to figure a way I can tactfully say on my Truth Tuesday, so I have been avoiding.  So I get paid Friday and I am thinking of buying a couple items of clothing.  There is A LOT I like and I am trying to get things that can be versatile or are really unique.  I am also trying to stay with things that I can dress up or dress down.  So without further ado, here they are!
I think this would look cute under my mustard yellow sweater.

I know socks are a silly thing to want, but foxes are one of my favorite animals.

Truth Tuesday #3

Truth is the guys that live above me really get on my nerves with their non-stop and late-night stomping sessions.  I finally had the nerve to say something, to stand up for myself.  It felt so good and I thank the R.A. (a friend of mine) for going and talking to them and I pray that it stays to a decent level.  I understand some noise is unavoidable, but the level at which it was was becoming ridiculous.

WIWW #3

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture every day, but I still managed a few days.
Friday was my first day of observing.  My fiance actually took the pics of me on Friday, but most of them were blurry!  So you get the one of me being a goof!

I didn't take any pictures of what I wore on Saturday because my fiance worked and I did homework in my dorm all day so I just wore sweats.

Sunday, I went to Plato's Closet and while I took no pictures of what I wore that day, I did however take a picture of some awesome pasta!
 Hello Kitty!

Monday, my fiance and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary.  Our actual anniversary is Sunday (yes 9/11!), but he has to work, so we celebrated early!

Truth Tuesday #2

Note: I just noticed this didn't post, so it is getting posted a day late.Sorry!
Truth is, I have awesome friends. But today, I am going to talk about my friend Ash Leigh.  We meet in a Reading Ed class last semester. I don't even remember how we started talking....oh yeah I think she complimented me on my Pikachu shirt...or I complemented her Pokemon shirt.  One of those two.  We also had Music Ed together, so in essence we saw each other a lot and seriously considered cutting Reading Ed because it was to say the least, boring.  But I don't think we ever did (although it was very tempting)!  I was disappointed that she would not be living on campus this year AND we have no classes together this semester.  I eat lunch with her now at least once a week, or go get a smoothie (which is the thing that tempted us to cut reading...they are just so good).
Anyway, she went on a trip to China over the summer to do field work (work in schools, for those who are not in the know).  I really think I should have done it because I would have had 30 less hours this semester, but eh I can't change my decision.  What I can do is show you the awesome/sweet/epic/cool things Ash Leigh brought me back!
Before we got out of school, I kept telling her she had to bring me back a panda.  Well since it would have been very difficult to smuggle a 200+ pound animal on to an airplane and back into the country, she brought me a more practical version.
An awesome pen. Literally I love taking notes with this pen.
Being that she was in Asia...she found my favorite friend...HELLO KITTY!
 In chopstick form....
And alarm clock form!
I absolutely love this stuff. Again thanks Ash Leigh!

Coldstone Dreamery...err Creamery

I love ice cream.  No, you don't understand; I REALLY love ice cream.  At any rate I really love ice cream, so when my best friend Brandy suggested we all go to Coldstone Creamery to celebrate her birthday (which was yesterday) and my roommates birthday (which was last Friday) I was all for it.  I typically get the Oreo Creme filling ice cream with Oreo's in it, but there was something that caught my eye.  A few weeks ago, when I first started becoming familiar with blogger and some of the blogs I currently follow, I was looking for some crafting ideas on Google and I came across My Latest Obsession, which is the first blog I "followed".  In once of her blogs she had a recipe for Salted Caramel Milkshakes.  This intrigued me for weeks.  I look up recipes on things with this salted caramel in which I was familiar with.  I was too scared to attempt to bake anything or make any thing with it.  Wednesday I got my chance to try this interesting concoction.

Salted Caramel Ice Cream with Almond and pretzels...YUM!

Gary got Brownie Batter ice cream with Oreo pieces.  My man loves chocolate!
Jess got cake batter I think with Oreos in it maybe? I'm not sure
The beautiful birthday girls and their ice cream!

Let me just say I have some awesome friends.  And I have had a pretty good year with them thus far.  Gary (my fiance), of course is the best thing in the world.  He is always there for me, he is the calm after my storm.  Literally, he can calm me down like no one else.  He gives me pep talks any time I need them, which is fairly often.  He believes in me more then I believe in myself. Seriously, he is the best.  Then, I have Brandy.  Brandy is one of the most beautiful people I know, both inside and out.  I can tell her things I can't tell anyone, and vice versa.  She would do anything for me, which is something that does not go unnoticed.  She is such a good person and we have so many laughs together.  Like every time we go to Chinese together, our comments, our girls nights.  They rock.  Jessica is literally the best room mate I could have asked for this year.  I was nervous at first, because I am a little gun shy from a situation I had last year with a room mate but she has been a blast thus far.  The other day we went to the Highlands and I thought I knew the short cut home.  I guess I didn't because we got lost and the road was closed.  Jess just says "Well, it's Sunday they aren't doing road work. We're going down this road."  I was so scared she would be mad for getting us lost, but it turned out to be something we have talked about all week.
Let's hope this semester keeps rocking...happy Saturday all!

Football

So last Saturday my brother had what they call "Grid-O-Rama".  This is an event in where 12 teams play football ALL DAY.  They only play half games(I think).  The games are scrimmage games, but it is so cool.

My brother is #33, or as I said all day "the one with the dark legs".

#66 is also my brother.  Well not really, but he is my brother's best friend and one of the kids in the youth group I help out with.  He is a good kid and I am so proud of him. This is his first year playing football and he is doing so well!
My bub is showing this guy who is boss!

My brother is the one knocking in to #57.  My brother is such a bad ass.

My mom is the best.  She kept her cool (better than I did) when we had to work in the concession stand and there were tons of little kids running around and the parents were...well they were.  I love kids, but I think there is a time and place for kids to be and this wasn't the place for them to be.

 There's my #33!
I need to say how PROUD I am of my baby brother!  He got his first fumble recovery and I was so pumped for the "Landshark", but it made me very nervous when I saw like fifteen guys jump on him.  Okay, so maybe it was like 4, but it still made me very nervous.

Bubby, I hope I can make it to as many games as possible.I am going to try my hardest.  I love you and don't forget "Kick his ass, Seabass!"
