Friday is Fabulous

Yesterday was horrible!I found out I will not be getting one of the grants for school I used to get so I am going to have to pay some out of pocket for school.AHHH!God love my dad for helping me out with it.It's only $156(I say only, but it could be much worse) and my grandma is helping me with books.  Also let me say God love both my parents and my fiance for always being there when I am crazy/whiny/upset/distraught/stressed.  I am blessed to have all of you in my life.

Now for a whiff of positivity.  I am working on some crafts...specifically a fall garland to decorate the dorm door with here in a couple months.Grand total cost $1.  When it is finished I will put more info about it up in a few days when it is complete as well as a few other things I have been whipping up.
I am going to see the local production of Alice in Wonderland tonight.  One of the girls from youth group and several kids I babysit are in it.  I am so excited to see it.Any one who knows me knows I love Love LOVE Alice in Wonderland.Speaking of, maybe I should go find my tea cup ring to wear. =]

Gary has a job interview today at Teletech.  Let's hope it goes through because he really wants the job.  He is too cute;he was so nervous today and asked me what to wear. It pays well, and you can get a discount on AT&T, which he already has and I am hoping to get once my contract is up.  He said we can get a joint plan.Makes me smile...like we are closer to the wedding bells, which speaking of, even though it is awhile off, I have inspiration for and I know what type of dress I want. =] =] =] =]

Also, I would like to showcase one of my favorite pieces of jewelry today.  I couldn't find it all summer because when I moved out of the dorm it somehow got placed in me school supply drawer(whoops!).  My dad and stepmother got in for me for Christmas this past year.  If I am not mistaken the bought it at the Market in Seattle...at the very least I know it was Seattle.  It is metal bent into my name.  To anyone out there with an odd or old-fashioned name, you know as a child how hard it is to find ANYTHING with your name on it.  When you are young it is depressing.  I believe one time in the Party Supplies store I cried because they didn't have a flip flop keychain with my name on it.  My poor sweet mother.  Anyway, my dad got this for me.  The ribbon on the sides are blue and aqua(or to my dad and every other man on the face of the planet another shade of blue), which is one of my favorite colors. I really am my parents kid.  Both my parents favorite colors are mine.  Dad loves blue, mom likes green and purple.  I really like any colors on that spectrum.

So today is shaping up to be a good day.  I leave you with a couple songs I am ADDICTED to right now.
The first
Neko Case's "I Wish I Was The Moon".  Yes I only heard this song this week on True Blood, but it is a beautiful song and I don't think it should matter how I heard it.

The Second:
Imogen Heap's "I'm A Lonely Little Petunia".  I came across this just as I was looking up more of her songs and fell in love with it immediately.

The last song is, yes, mainstream, but I am so IMPRESSED with the song.

Have a fabulous Friday everyone!
